Chapter 10

Believe it or not, Blue Heart BEGS me to read Pinocchio to her. It's so deep and close to reality. The marionette wants to be good, but it's not a good 'son' to Gepetto until experience, mistakes, and adventures give him the perspective he needs to value what Gepetto is telling him all along.
I'm very moved in just 10 chapters by Gepetto. He (as a father or a mother), suffers when his son does, but has to let him 'fall' and learn lessons himself, at the same time he unconditionally loves him, despite of his shortcomings.
